Community Engagement Open houses April 6 & 8, 2022

It is important that the OFID rate payers understand the implications of the potential service conversion to RDOS.  Consultation remains a criticial component to the conversion study.

We will hold two Community Engagement Open Houses

Wednesday April 6, 2022  5:00-7:00 pm      Location:  Senior Centre - 1128 Willow St.

Friday April 8, 2022           3:00-5:00 pm        Location:  Senior Centre - 1128 Willow St.

The OFID Board of Trustees intends to provide electors the opportunity to vote on

the following question:

Are you in favour of the OFID converting to services of the Regional District

of Okanagan–Similkameen, and the adoption of “Water Quality Enhancement Borrowing

Bylaw No.418” for water system upgrades?

The time and location of the vote for the question will be 5:00 pm on Wednesday April 20, 2022 at the Seniors Centre located at 1128 Willow Street, Okanagan Falls. Ballots will be used to ensure the vote is secret.  ATTENDANCE at the AGM is the ONLY way in which a vote can be counted and that a majority vote of those present will allow the OFID to proceed with converting to services of the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen and with adoption of the borrowing bylaw.
